Active for Life
Just as children need to be taught to read and write, they also need to be taught how to run, jump and throw, after all, all movement is a child’s – first language. Our ability to move is the most fundamental means we have of interacting with our world …. It is called physical literacy. Children who have fun being active are more likely to stay – Active for Life!
Sport for Life
Richmond Sports for Life is about raising our children with quality sport and physical activity so that more of them can have the choice to use their skills and enjoy being active for their entire lives.
No child should be left on the sidelines! All children should be given the opportunity to experience the positive bene¬fits of organized sports. KidSport provides support to children by removing financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport.
