By the end of July, it often feels like Summer is almost over. But really, the fun is just getting started. Here are some fun beach volleyball tournaments you must attend this summer because we’ll be there too!
Center of Gravity – August 2-4 Kelowna, BC This is by far, one of Canada’s hottest beach event, both in temperature and in the amount of bikini girls and topless men. Center of Gravity is a unique event that encompasses many different sporting events paired with concerts and parties.
Seaside Aug 9-11 Seaside, Oregon – This is the world’s largest pro and amateur beach volleyball tournament almost 1300 registered in 2’s 4’s and 6’s. The best part is that they let you drink on the beach and build bonfires all weekend!
Canadian Championships – August 23-25 Spanish Banks (East and West) – Volleyball BC along with Volleyball Canada is hosting the Canadian Championships for the 2nd year at Spanish Banks. This is sure to be an amazing spectator and player event set in front of one of the most beautiful landscapes in the world.
AVP Sept-27-29 Santa Barbara, California. This season marks the return of AVP under the new-ownership of Donald Sun. In their comeback year, they have solidified 7 cities, and Santa Barbara being their 2nd to last event of the season.
